Root MIUI port questions

I honestly don't even have it packaged at all. I only rebuilt framework.jar to include the changes to get RIL working. I'm at school right now, but I can push a working copy of the .jar file when I find myself at home.

That would be awesome! I've been digging it so far but haven't had a chance to really get any digging in done.

You haven't mentioned anything about WIFI.. Is that working?

yea, honestly one of miuis biggest offerings were the weekly builds. its one of the best roms for battery life, and the UI is incredible. no app drawer means so much less clutter and people will get used to making folders. themes on miui are endless and extremely easy to modify or build your own, little .mtz files. i see it easily becoming the most popular rom for this phone.:

Ya don't feel obligated to release this on your birthday. You only turn whatever age your turning once ;-). We can wait.
 
This makes me ecstatic, this is what I'm sure a lot of us were dreaming of when CM7 work started happening, MIUI is beautiful. I didn't really expect it to happen to be honest.

I was so happy I told my fiance about it. She stared blankly.
 
I'm so excited! My dream for getting MIUI on my phone is coming true. Like soon. Such a great UI and design. I'm just so excited!!
 
he means there really isnt anything "big" to present.... think of it like cm7 right now, when all the major bugs are worked out. it will spread like wildfire! :D

haha i dare someone to flash the miui rom and then go to the apple store and tell them that theres a problem with your "iphone" :D:p:cool:

I flashed the nothing working version over at xda and I love miui more than my girlfriend (shhhhhh) ;)

Lmao they would call security, and maybe sue you like they are doing so with samsung, for "looking like ios"
 
I flash the "nothing working version" without wipe/data and not formating system and I can receive calls. Couldn't make one the dialer force close every time. Just to let you guys know. I'm also waiting for the working version that Isaac is coking. "CAN YOU SMELL WHAT THE ISAAC IS COOKING "

If you do a data wipe it becomes much more stable. I was able to make calls just fine.

I guess you guys are spoiled, as I have a surprise coming too. :)

I need a favor though. Those who have installed the X6 port, can you get on WIFI and check if GPS is working?
