MIUI Rom boot loop issue

I've googled this for over an hour but none of the posts here or otherwise have helped. I tried to flash the MIUI rom and read that the boot loop would take about 6 minutes to finish, but after 15 minutes I took the advice of another user to pull the battery and re-flash.
Didn't fix anything. I've done a factory reset, wiped the caches, tried everything I could find.

I don't have any custom boot image if it matters, and MIUI is the only zip on my sd card, so I can't flash something else.

I would appreciate any help. I don't mind if my phone goes back to stock or I lose my data.

ive never run miui so im not expert, but i dont think any rom is supposed to boot loop, they normally just have a very extended first boot tho


if you have a micro sd card reader, or something of the sort where you can access the sd card straight from a pc

or if you have another smartphone you can place the sd in that just to transfer the file from the pc

other then these 2 options, im not sure if you can push things to the sd card


either way i would suggest trying a different rom, also, normally everything seems to work better if you download the rom to a pc first then move it to the sd


note* you may want to also throw a post into the thread of whichever Miui version you were trying to run, so other miui users can chime in and try and help ya
