Ah, then go to lockscreen gallery. Allows you to choose anything from your gallery.

IMO quadrant is so unreliable to base it off of whether the rom you are running is good... I dont know about others but I can run quadrant back to back to back and end up with three different scores sometimes over 200 points apart. I dont judge a rom based on quadrant, I judge it based on how cool its running, how quick it multitasks or switches between apps, and how smooth everything runs.
That said, this rom is still cake. I've run bb v4, UD7 & UD8, cm6, and bb v5 as well as others, my device info says it all, sometimes I switch between two and three roms and themes a day, I dont see myself changing from this anytime soon at all. I loved all of the above roms (the exception being UD7, for some reason it didnt like my Droid) but this one takes the win. Its just something that has never been done before, in any rom. It runs silky smooth with the fixes the people at droidforums and publicanimal have worked on and its so completely different from everything else out there right now, its just refreshing to see and use.
A big thank you to zenulator for porting this and to publicanimal for all the work he has spent on it ironing out the kinks. Amazing ROM, amazing features built into it, and best of all it completely changes everything that has been done as far as android development...
One last thing, this thing has over 120 pages dedicated to it over at droidforums, just because it hasnt gotten the attn it deserves here doesnt mean that it hasnt gotten attn, this rom is utterly amazing, follow the directions from publicanimal and use chevys ss4.8 before flashing this rom and then use his latest redraw fix in terminal and prepare to find yourself immersed in a rom that is amazingly different from anything else ever done with android.

I originally flashed this over ss 4.8, and loved it. LFY 1.7 came out today, and I am currently running that, and it's great, but I know that I will be going back to MIUI after giving LFY 1.7 a fair run... Do I need to flash SS 4.8 before going back to MIUI, or will using my nand restore be sufficient?

You nandroid will work just fine. I have gone back to MIUI several times using nandriods I have made.

Also at this point, SS 4.8 is just the recommended "launching pad" for this ROM. I haven't tested it, but according to others coming from other ROMs should work as well. That was just the ROM that seemed to give the least issues according to others @ droidforums.net so I wrote it into the guide as part of the install. It might be an unnecessary step but I figured "better safe than sorry".
That said, if I were to re-install it again though, I would still come from SS 4.8.
Thanks. There are others such as bgill55 who deserve even more credit. What I did in creating the update for this ROM was simply combine all the other fixes that others had created into a single .zip. Before I did that there were 4 or 5 separate patches that had to be installed, and I figured that might be off-putting for people considering installing the ROM so I combined them. So I didn't do the legwork that went into the update, I just created the file combining the work of others.

I'm looking forward to trying that new version. I don't think SetCPU is necessary but do your own test to see. If you experience redraws there is a terminal script you can run that I added to the end of my install guide on droidforums.net.

Followed the directions and it seems to work pretty smoothly. All of my apps worked great. I didn't get a notification light when I got email/sms or anything and that was annoying. Also I don't like that the "send calls directly to voice mail" options isn't there. I use that one quite a bit. That was the deal breaker for me. A small detail I know. Other than that I was very happy with it. Very nice ROM. I may go back if I can figure out how to get rid of those 2 annoyances.
Just a heads up. I installed metickones latest version he uploaded last night and it is running GREAT. Still get one launcher FC when rebooting and it took a few google framework wipes to stop those FC's but other than that all fixes are included and he removed a lot of the bloat and optimized a few things. Dialer, mms, backlight, etc. are all working flawlessly. This version is also faster than the original that I flashed.
edit: not using setcpu does have a noticeable difference. I tried it both with and without this morning and with setcpu there was noticeable stuttering when swiping through home screens.

If you tweak the trackball light color settings in Settings > Sounds you can get the LED working. Change it to any color except white, uncheck and then recheck, and it will work in the color you select.

hey is there anyway to do away with some homescreens? I dont need 8 of them lol...
When you are on your home screen, hit home again and it'll bring up all your screens (remove widgets, apps from the ones you want to delete first) and just hit the x in the top right corner of the screen previews that you don't want.
This ROM really is amazing. For anybody that hasn't tried it out yet, metiCkOne is really putting in work on this thing. Just released a new version this afternoon.

Has anybody else had a problem with Facebook not being able to fetch content?
Contacts sync? If you installed metickones version his instructions say to sync them then flash the miui ROM and they will work. Other versions you can use the app 'syncmypix' to sync facebook contact pictures.

Everything is syncing well. I just cannot get the app to display any content from my fb. When you start the app, it usually says fetching content, then your news feed displays. I get an error at this point. I can sync, sign in, but not actually use my facebook.
Don't think I've heard of that issue, only the contacts not syncing. Check out metickones section at droidforums.net , hopefully somebody there can help you out more.
Which version did you try? The new ROM out from metickone is based off the latest version and has an improved stock launcher and nearly all of the chinese is translated. Stock launcher is much faster/smoother.
