Root Miui rom?

The farthest there is is the Austrie or Mobster v4 ROMs.

but I've been off phandroid for a while because my v 4g broke and I had to get a new one, so I've missed out on a lot.

My one question is, can we flash any Evo 3d CDMA ROM to our v 4gs? Obviously I'd expect MMS to not work but I mean would everything else be functional?

Yes there is a way. Downgrading hboot required though.

My new Evo V 4G is S-off and rooted as of yesterday, but still not activated (waiting for my last StraghtTalk month to run out), and I downloaded that ported Sense 4 rom, CM10 from goomanager and MIUI from goomanager. Both the Goo roms worked flawlessly, 3d even worked on the MIUI rom, however I couldn't test SMS/call/anything radio as it's unactivated, but I did have signal bars on both and got the Virgin/Sprint error message when placing a call, so it seems as tho both are on good terms.

The CM10 one has an EPIC boot animation, IMO; full 3d with floating geometric shapes in the background and foreground, my favorite by far.
