Root miui themes don't work

I think with the new miui build they are broken. I see kolosus was having the same problem you are. In the mean time, in the older miui build themes should be working fine. You could always try that build and see if the issue is with the themes themselves or an issue with the newer build :)
 
On the new Miui from androidadmirer the themes are not working. They dont actually apply.

On the older build, by blovadova, the themes work. I'm not 100% on Megatron. Haven't tried.

Just remember that if you apply a non compatible lock screen theme you can hold vol up+ menu to unlock the screen. I've tried applying themes to the new Miui build in many different ways... the only thing that I did actually get to apply was icon themes.

Also note that the older Miui NEEDS to have sdext in order to get it to boot. If you do not have sdext then it'll boot loop. If you want to boot it without sdext then take a look here.
