I've only tried the newest version of miui 0.1.14 and I think they fixed alot of issues from pervious versions, there should be a changelog on the download. Only probs I had was with sending long text messages, I'm sure there is a work around I just havent had time to check yet, been busy at work today. But I love the fact that it truly is it's own operating system, nothing looks like stock at all.

I'm thinking that the long text issue was the problem i was having earlier. However, I decided to go back to Myn's. I really like the rom, but a few issues were deal breakers for me. No 4G, no front facing camera, no zooming in past 2x, and for some reason, my battery drained much faster than with Myn's. I'm not interested in flashing new roms and kernels every other day. So I'm going to stick with Myn's for now, and keep an eye on MIUI as it develops. As I said, I really like what it brings, but those few features are things I really need.
Yea I feel you, I really like the interface on MIUI (keep in mind I am still using ADW ex launcher) the speed, just the whole different feel on the pic gallery, dialer, settings, music player, etc..
I almost never use 4G cause it's spotty in portland, and absolutely murders the battery, and I dont even have an HDMI cable for my phone so thats no biggie.
However the no front facing camera is a prob me as I do use the front camera quite a bit, I had not noticed anything on the zooming, but I almost never use zoom. Other than that it just takes a while to get used to a new Interface and how to quickly find a setting etc...
I have been swapping back and forth between the 2, but yea once they have the front facing camera, and fix the few issues that are lingering I think AOSP is the way to go.
