They do...but all of that and more is coming to Verizon, and SOON.
Verizon has the new NFL Mobile deal (streaming games, latest news, best mobile experience) and it all starts with the draft, which is now only 2 weeks and change away.
I haven't heard yet how they'll release this to verizon phones though...

it takes away from all the hard work us dev's put in, and try to make a decent buck.
Anyone know of something like this for the NHL? I can't find anything good for hockey. I get no love.
The Versus Hockey app isnt the same but not to bad. Highlights scores stories etc....

Just go to this forum post from your phone and click on the OP's link. It will ask you to change the authorization to download non-market items, click ok and dl. easy. then go back afterwards and change the option back to settings>applications>uncheck box for unknown sources.
The NFL is not > an entire ESPN service integrated into the phone. I'm still not sure what Sprint users get, but it sounds like it's gonna be pretty awesome. Also, Sprint will release it based on OS, so no downloading their .apk and putting it on ours.
Unless someone manages to port it and all.

As a Blues season ticket holder I am to mad there is nothing for us. I emailed some app people and even the NHL but nobody cares about us.Anyone know of something like this for the NHL? I can't find anything good for hockey. I get no love.

Don't think so. On your phone, click the link in the second post, which takes you to mediafire. there your gonna see a link to start downloading. click it and it'll take you to your download history while it's downloading. when its done, click on it and follow the onscreen instructions. done

can anyone provide a link like this one for the verizon fios mobile app.? I lost it when I moved to 2.1. I know it's there for the droid 2.1.

It seems like 1.0.3 was released about 12 days ago. I guess we knew that. I have found the app to be perfect at 1.0.2.
Some have reported that with both 1.0.2 and .3, there have been issues of audio streams cutting out and other issues. If you don't have these issues, stop looking for a newer version. Your current version is fine and the newer one will probably just cause you more problems.

Yeah i was using 1.0.3 today and it cut out a few times, i had to restart the audio feed to get it back. I don't know if those problems persisted on 1.0.2, but i know during spring training there was drop outs on it before 1.0.3 came out. I was hoping 1.0.3 would fix those issues but i guess it didn't Still restarting the feed every couple innings isn't too bad.
On a side note: I will be at Wrigley Field tomorrow for the final game in the series vs the brewers. Can't wait, it will be a blast wether the cubs win or lose.

I'm sure you saw them today. I turned it off when it was 6-3 or something. Saw someone's Facebook status like "Marmol, shutting em down." Checked ESPN, they won.

Yeah i figured they were done but kept listening anyway. I had to go into the wifes store when they were up 1 in the bottom of the 8th and by the time i came back out they had won. Maybe the team is starting to heat up, i know they can use some good comeback wins to get them back where they need to be mentally.
We demoted Carilidad(sp.) which was good. Theriot. 3 SBs. I like that. Playing small ball gives me a cozy feeling inside. It's like watching Tim Duncan play. It's nothing exciting, but it's fundamental, and it gets it done in the end. Like the White Sox in 05. Hit and run. Long balls are never fun at Wrigley when the wind's blowing in.
Our pitching is superb, though. I can't imagine Lilly coming back. I don't wanna jinx it, but flashbacks to 04's pitching staff of Wood, Prior, Maddux, Z, and Clement.
I hope this is the year.

Yeah randy wells has been a nice suprise and hopefully big z can win tomorrow. Dempster has been solid the last few years and lily is always great. We have 2 guys that can fill in the #5 role, so lou will have fun deciding which one to use. Either way you can't have enough good starting pitchers, that 04 team was stacked. I almost cried the day they traded greg maddux, i'm still alittle bitter about that ordeal.
I was alive in 92, but not old enough when Maddux was traded. Braves fans had all the fun with him. They think he's theirs. I know because I still deal with them in Auburn and just about lost it with a few friends on opening day that gave their own stupid version of Gamecast through texts.
Soriano is a $136 million paper weight.

I meant when they traded him the second time to the padres, i don't remember 92 very well either and wasn't a huge baseball fan at the time. Back then i was more into basketball and my detroit pistons, heh. Oh well maddox has always been a great pitcher even late in his career.

Couldn't agree with you more. Ridiculous that people steal things that cost $1. Same people who would throw a fit if someone stole $1 from them.

I'm jealous. The Cubs are my team. I'd love to be able to go to Wrigley some day although I have seen them play a few times in Atlanta. I listened to the end of the Cubs/Brewers game yesterday on MLB At Bat before I left work ....top of the ninth....two outs....Prince Fielder comes up to bat....Marmol strikes him out! I'd have loved to been there to see that. Z goes for the sweep today. Go Cubbies!

Root your 1.5 phone, put on a plain jane looking 2.1 ROM (like I have), and use jcase (from xda-developers) Market Fix app (just look in market for 'Market Fix Eris' - it's free!).
You can find and download At Bat 2010 ($15?) without a problem.

I have MLB At Bat on my 2.1 (non-rooted) phone. Works flawlessly. I just wasn't able to actually pay for it. It would be completely worth it to me, but if they don't want to sell it to me in the marketplace, there are other methods.
