MLB.TV

I am in need of a new tablet and would like to purchase an Android based tablet. However the major app I use is MLB TV and according to their own specifications, they don't have many (any) supported Android tablets other than the Nexus 7". Does anyone have success running this on their tablets? I have heard and read that MLB TV users were not able to stream live games from mid July to September last year.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

I would imagine that if it ran on the N7, it would run on any modern name brand tablet (i.e. Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Note 8.1, 10.1, etc) that they should all have at least Jelly Bean on them if not Kit Kat. That would be the only thing holding them back from getting the app.

You would need to be careful with Kindle Fire's as they run a fork of Android, so there may be compatibility issues. I would think if you look for the MLB app in the Amazon.

I already moved this to apps and realized I think you are talking about streaming from their site.:o

You may want to try this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bamnetworks.mobile.android.gameday.atbat

It shows compatible with all my devices, which includes everything back to a circa 12/2009 OG Droid.

Oh, Go Sox.:thumb:

Thank you Unforgiven for the response and the link. It looks like a lot of folks reviewing the app have video issues. I have a first Gen IPAD that I can still watch the games on, watching the Sox-Stankess game right now :-)
So I may try to decide the best Android tablet and take my chances.
Go SOX
