Okay this is pretty much the same as R1 but a little more customized, again I made it work for the Ally originally it didnt, I recommend applying this over R1, so apply R1 first!

its kinda transparent, i have a light background on now so its easy to see, u can always edit the colors in framework and make em #ffffff for all white text

I cant find the file to edit the text. I really want to change the text color to either white or something similar in the notification bar. what am i missing? I know its in the framework but all i see is pictures. i know im missing somethin...

I also would like to change the font color on the notification bar. This is a great theme, but the font color sort of makes it unusable. How would one change it?

Flash all 3 theme's i posted in the following order:

http://androidforums.com/ally-all-things-root/154937-fully-themed-lg-ally-how.html
http://androidforums.com/ally-all-things-root/157878-mm-theme-r1-tested-velocity-rom-awesome.html
http://androidforums.com/ally-all-t...e-customized-tested-velocity-rom-awesome.html

the first one gives white fonts, second is the main theme, and third is addons

This works except it does not fix the clock. the clock text is black in the first one ( in the howto) but it has a special grey block behind it to make it visible. in the R1 and R1L that block disappears, rendering the clock unable to be read.

you can flash parts of the theme which is what i did, dont flash the framework and ur good to go =D

I AM CURRENTLY BUILDING A THEME TO HAVE GOODIES FROM ALL 3 THEME'S AND I'LL PUT A LITTLE LIGHT GRAY BOX BEHIND THE CLOCK OR SOMETHING SO ITS VISIBLE.

I dont suppose you know what font is used in xml files do you? It's all jibberish when I open the 928 statusbar.xml so im pretty sure i just dont have the right font

ive been having trouple using your theme. i have metamorph, and i put both thr r1 and r1l in the android theme file on my sdcard. when it finishes unzipping either file, i get an error message saying theme control file is missing or not correctly written. any ideas?

hmm maybe you should try redownloading them. Mine work flawlessly now. I would also like to say my final solution to the clock was to take the statusbarbackground.png and paste it over both the R1 and R1L. simplest in my mind. not completely perfect, as it clashes a little in landscape mode with the signal meter. but its def better than not being able to read it

Yeah that's what I did, once I get some time I'll modefity the ROM to come with white text automatically.

try unziping on your computer and then moving the folders to your sd card

Are you connected to USB with debugging turned on?

getting the files into the android themes folder isnt the problem. it say the theme control file is missing or not correctly written. i really want to try out your theme. im using the one that says "omg" on the signal icon.

how are you guys getting this to work? everytime i unzip in metamorph, when it finishes, it says the control file is missing or not correctly written.
