I was recently on the rom WildHEROC, but had to switch back to stock cuase i kept losing data connection, and would have to reboot. Anyways, i really liked the way the stock messaging app on that rom. So, i extracted the Mms.apk out of it. Question is, can i flash or install this .apk on stock hero rom

I doubt it. The WildHero ROM is an HTC Sense 2.1 based ROM.

The MMS app probably requires the the newer HTC Sense framework to function properly. If you do try it, be sure to do a Nandroid backup first.
