Root mms issue with fresh 3.5.0.1 evo

I cannot access mms after I put on the new freshevo rom. I get the message not downloaded generic network failure error.

I also noticed last night that 4g isnt working, yet I did install the newest radios. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Did you wipe before flashing? Maybe try and reflash it. I used that Rom since it was released up until recently with no issues. I do not have 4g in my area though.

what do you mean by wipe? Factory reset or what?

Yes, factory reset and wipe Davlik-Cache prior to flashing.

Also, did you do the radio/wimax updates when you flashed this rom? you might not have needed them depending on whether or not you were on the latest update or not.

I did do the latest radio update as well. So If I do a factory reset now what will that do? I need to completely redo flashing the rom to solve the issue?

A factory reset will erase all of the user data on your phone. It may or may not correct the problem but a bad flash or a corrupt .zip could have cause it. I am not an expert by any means but I have had a number of issues resolved by reflashing a Rom.
