Help MMS issue with Handcent

I've had Handcent for 2 years now so this is a new issue. I must have changed a setting and I don't know what I did. When I get a text, even just a simple text, the data does not appear. It just says "mms message click to view" and then I have to click the button to see the text. Any ideas?

2nd issue is my auto correct seemed to stop working for spelling. Any help here would be appreciated.

I'm not a Handcent user, but does it have a way to back up/restore your messages? If so, I'd recommend backing up, uninstall Handcent, reinstall, and then restore your messages. Or if you don't mind losing them, you could skip the back up/restore.

Are you talking about the popup notification? Look around notification settings in handcent to see if maybe something has changed.

The keyboard issue is more specific to the keyboard itself. I do know that for certain apps, keyboards never show auto-corrections or suggestions. Typing urls or searches through Google are two such incidences.

I also use Handcent and I think are are taling about the same issue I had some time ago.... Go into the stock text messaging app and press your setting button. Look to see that the Auto-retrieve option is checked. Maybe even uncheck it and then recheck it. This fixed my problem of MMS messages not automatically downloading. This was suggested to me on here some time ago...
