Help MMS issue

Hello,

I just purchased the Skyrocket to replace my 4s and absolutely love it so far. However, I am having one small issue. Whenever I receive a picture message from another person, it comes through and appears as a 3-10 second video. The time varies on almost every picture I have tested.

That seems pretty normal. All still pics in MMS messages have come to my last three phones, including two Windows Mobile phones, as 5 second video clips. Can't really tell you why. I can tell you that because the were sent as MMS, they have been severely downsized to fit the limitations of that format and are pretty much useless for archiving as photos.

It may have something to do with the sender's system and not yours.

Really? That surprises me. With iPhones, pictures come in as still with the ability to zoom and manipulate them. On the skyrocket I am so limited with what I can do. It won't even let me zoom in!

I was almost sure that there would be a fix for this.

P.S. I have had friends test from an iPhone 4 and a Droid - both with the same result.

Might depend on what other people are using to send you MMS messages with and how they are using them.
