Hey everyone, first post. When I receive pictures in MMS (using the stock messaging software) the pictures I get are really small. I was hoping someone could help me fix this without alternative software like Handcent.
Thanks,
G
BTW..........Hey everyone, first post.

If you tap on the photo, then tap again, it will display in its normal size.
If you want to test this, download the free app SCREEN GRABBER & send a pic to anyone. Then, perform the double-tap as described & you'll see what I mean.

Thanks for the quick replies and welcoming, but even when i double tap the picture it is still small. Also if I save the picture it still comes up small.
Here's something i read about this issue in a different thread:
"I'm pretty sure i fixed the issue, mess with the User agent under the settings in the stock messaging app..... which i did, and now i'm getting pictures at the right size again."
If someone know what this guy is talking about and could elaborate on it that would be great.

hmmm... well its just smaller than a normal picture would be, and I sent the picture back to the sender to confirm it is "small" and they agreed it was smaller than the photo they sent. Technical, huh?![]()

I understand it is relative. The main problem is that the picture is being resized and resolution being lost. If I zoom it is extremely blurry. If I put the pictures on my computer they are still small. Its almost like a thumbnail size. I dont think it is being resized to fit the phone screen because it doesnt remotely take up the whole screen even if I assume aspect ratio is maintained. I am not able to see the details of the picture size.
