Root [MMS] Possible Fix?

I agree! I will keep everyone posted if I have any luck, I am still working on the device files right now for CM9 which are more inline with the Virgin Mobile than the sprint ones. While I know CM10 works I am much more familiar with the code on CM9 as I have been using it for months. It's taking more time than expected but I am getting there slowly. You can see my first of many edit right now.

I understand being angry about having your work stolen without due credit, but it wasn't handled correctly. All anyone had to do was confront via a PM and we could, ideally, all live peacefully.
 
@g60madman Ive flashed EVO V Roms to my EVO 3D and they worked fine. Will MMS work if we flash it to the EVO 3D hacked for Virgin? Or will it detect its not the EVO V or something? Thanks!

Hard to say, I know the stock 3D HTC kernel is much different than the stock V HTC kernel. I ripped the kernel config from our V and compared it to the source code on htvdev.com for the 3D and they where very different. The best bet is to give it a shot and see what happens. Still working on the device files hoping I should have them done soon. I took a new job so I have not had any downtime like my old job, so coding is taking me longer as I only have evenings to work.

It's probably due to the apns.xml file...the ones for the V probably have the sprint stuff coded in which is why with sprint roms, I have to swap out apns files.
