My wife's un-rooted, stock SF received the OTA last week. On the second try, the update was successful. The only issue we're having is that she can't receive pictures in MMS messages. The message says 'downloading attachment', and of course never arrives. Other than rooting and popping a ROM on it (which I still may do), is there any known fix? This function was working before the OTA.

I disabled auto-retrieve in messaging settings, and this fixed the problem. I vaguely remembered that MMS would not download on wifi, and her Juice Defender favors wifi at home. Turning off wifi allowed the on-demand download of photos in the MMS message over 3g.
