Help Mms problems

Anyone else having problems sending or receiving multimedia messages? Every time I send one, it never gives me a sent time. Just says sending when it had indeed been sent. And when I get a picture message, it never downloads.

I used to get that problem on my Optimus all the time. I found that deleting the message and rebooting the phone seemed to help, and could again send MMS messages. Haven't had this happen on the Esteem yet though.

Couple of things:

1. Depending if your sending the mms on 4g/3g signal you can send upto 2mb, if the image is larger than that, then you can't.

2. if you're not on 4g/3g and you're on 1x then the mms (image size) needs to be less than 500kb

3. Deleting messages and rebooting has worked, how/why idk. Just does, sometimes.

4. Receving same situations. Files size is the importance along with what data connection you have. If you're using the Stock Messaging app it should auto convert the image for you to fit with in the sending limits (500kb) Some third party messaging apps you can set it to 2mb (org file size or even 5mb for 8mp + cameras on devices)

Hope this helps understanding a little about mms with wireless carriers.

Hi!

I thought i resolved the problem but still the same I can't recieved or send pictures so I went to Metropcs for the third time and they did everything they need to do and still no results :( so they're going to give me a new phone next week. They also tell me that could be a problem with LG phones because alots of people went over there with the same problem.

Go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All>Messaging. From there press Clear data and it should work. It worked for me!
