Help mms recording dark screen

When i record a video in mms (176x144) mode the picture is very dark, even in a brightly lit room, every other resolution is fine. Anyone else have this problem?

No mine works well. Have you adjusted all the settings and tried to have the phone led light on?

It is probably some manual setting that it is defaulting to or a combination of auto settings. Check your ISO, Image Adjustments, Auto Enhance etc. It is usually one or more of these that messes up the picture.

The led helps a tiny bit but its defenetly still way to dark, there is no iso setting for the camcorder thats for the camera only. I dont think its any picture settings because as soon as i switch from the mms (176x144) video mode to low (320x240) mode or higher the picture is fine. When you adjust the exposure setting it makes the picture brighter or darker on any other video mode as well, looks like it doesnt make a difference in the mms mode its like its stuck on -5 for exposure

BTW, you are correct I have the same issue on the 176x144. I was at the next higher setting when I gave my original post.

I found that if I go into Image adjustments and reset the contrast to -2 this gets me some more light then when I add the LED it is much brighter.
