I'm trying to send MMS but it doen't work without purchasing a data plan from my provider.
I have defined two APNs, one for MMS and one for Internet. If I change the Internet APN (e.g use a wrong server name), I'm not able to send MMS.
MMS is sent immediately as soos as I set the correct Internet APN settings.
It seems that Android OS cannot utilise the MMS APN in order to send the MMS and for some reason it requires a functioning Internet APN as well.
I know that APNs should be able to work independently, as it was happening in my old Symbian device.
Is this a limitation of Android OS?
What is the technical limitation?
Is there a workaround?
