MMS stopped working (again)

Hey guys

I got an invite from Google to install 'Hangouts' on my phone. Since then, my MMS seems to be broken.

Look:



So any MMS I get won't show up in hangouts, and the message is no longer showing in my default text app. Here is a shot of the same message thread in the default app, notice none of the MMS texts I got show up at all:



I cant seem to uninstall Hangouts. I tried the reset through the dialer, and hit the update PRL button, didn't work. Not sure what else to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MMS has nothing to do with the PRL. Check your APN settings (get them from your carrier - they're different for different carriers). Better yet, bring the phone into the carrier's store and ask them to check them.
 
When ever I have any thing like that I just do a hard reset, press and hold the power button for ten seconds and the phone will reboot. Most of the time problems solved
 
Hangouts is a big battery killer. I used it for 3 hours for just texting.... And it killed my phone's battery badly.. Lol. I locked it in quarantine and never spoke of it again. Haha!
 
Well, it works, but it only downloads the "header" and I then have to click download. But if I click download, it will not download unless data is enabled.

Edit: sorry, I realized that this isn't the lg motion forum.
