Help MMS while data is deactivated?

How can I open MMS I received while data was deactivated? It says "Downloading.." in the message area but it never downloads, and clicking it only shows the message details.

SOLVED
Ok so all I had to do was go to messages's settings then turn auto-retrieve MMS to off. Then a "Download" button comes up next to the MMS and I just had to turn on data and it would download.

I've already tried doing this, it just keeps saying "Downloading..."

I would have thought "auto-retrieve" would have been a good settings, but obviously not.

I turned that off in message settings, then went back into my message and there was the download button moved off to the side of the MMS message and I pressed and it Viola! photo appeared.

weird, but that's why there are forums!!

Are you sure you turned data on before pressing download?
