Mobile Connection problem

I have my HTC DESIRE 2.2 and I had a mobile connection a week ago, but it just worked for two days and afterwards its not even connecting. I went to the shop from where I got the connection and they told me it's a problem in your phone. Any help?

He also told me there's frequent mobile connection problems in HTC DESIRE sets.

We really need more information as to your settings etc. I assume though that the shop would have checked that all the settings are correct. I would say; if the phone is only a week old and it has stopped working in this way, that it is broken/not fit for purpose, and can be returned!

Yeh all settings are correct. Infact it was working with the same settings a couple of days ago, and suddenly no connection.
