Help Mobile data not working

My mobile data has suddenly stopped working today after nearly a year of no problems. I'm on Orange (UK) and a girl in the office who's also on Orange, here data connection seems to be fine. I have an unbranded Desire. Any ideas what could be wrong? I've restarted the phone twice plus switched plane mode on and off to see if that worked and nothing.
 
Have you checkd the APN's against Orange's website / customer services? I have had mine disappear altogether in the past
 
Haven't had a chance to post a reply to this till now, but thanks for your help it was the APN settings. I'd downloaded Elixir from the app store and it had changed the APN settings on my phone. Suffice to say it's been uninstalled and given a bad review.
 
Yes, these "power saving" and "turn off mobile data" apps often append something to the APN so the app can control when other apps can connect
