Since updating to Froyo, I notice that my phone seems to use trace amounts of mobile data constantly. Doesn't seem to make much difference to my data usage, but probably hurts the battery.
I don't want to turn this into a thread about Froyo however.
What I am asking instead, is if there is some sort of app out there which can turn mobile data on and off according to a schedule.
My ideal situation would then be the following, (as and example):
say I care about facebook and gmail, I would then set my facebook and gmail to sync once every 4 hours.
Using a mobile data scheduler app, I would set it so that my mobile data is turned off for 3hrs 58 mins, on for 2 mins, and then repeat.
Basically I only want my mobile data to turn on just for the time it takes to run a sync, and then turn off again. Is this possible?
