Root Mobile Hotspot?

Hey guys, I had a quick, SIMPLE question! (Earlymon and marctronixx, this is for you!!!) (ALSO, iSyncr was the solution to my problem! USB on my truck still doesnt work, but im just using bluetooth) But in any event, on my old EVO I was using a ROM with a cracked Mobile Hotspot. I tried using Foxfi and had mixed success with it. I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of this problem? Thanks in advance!! I'm looking for the "Official" Sprint app

Are you rooted? If so, we can get this moved over to the ATR subforum.

If you are rooted, you can hack the sprint hotspot yourself by adding a single line of code to the build.prop. Most ROMS have this baked in already as well.

Looking for the linnk... it takes forever to find things with the new Xda :/

I'm not, only because none of these ROMs have really caught my eye. Can it be done with stock? And more importantly, anything you would reccommend?

I like MeanROM, but theres not a whole lot of differences between them.

Yes, it can be done on a stock rooted ROM. As well.

excuse my idiot-ness, but what is build.prop?

No problem :) I forgot the link I sent wasnt really a step by step.

Your build.prop is a file located in the system folder. You can add that line to it by using an app like ES file explorer to open it (you have to go into the app settings and give it root access first) and add the line.

I did all this and I get error code 67. How do I clear the Dalvik cache?
