Mobile ID Update

HTRdly

Lurker
My Reverb just updated Mobile ID, and I seem to have gotten Jelly Bean 4.2 out of it, I think. It looks an awful lot like Jelly Bean screenshots that I've seen online. It still says it's 4.0 in About Device, though. And the Accuweather Clock widget has disappeared (boo!)

Has anyone else had this update? Is it 4.2?

Okay. Thanks for your help.

Incidentally how do you change the default launcher? I've been using adw launcher and was messing in mobile id and now touchwiz is default and I can't get it back to adw

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Reverb using Tapatalk 2.

system setting --- application manager -- touchwiz home -- scroll down and click 'clear defaults' -- press home button -- select adw

edit: nvm! ive cleared the data, rebooted and it went through. it's a vm skin/bloatware. lolz!

is this mobile id essentials pack really needed? if so, how does one go about in making the download work/finish? it never progresses and thus always fail on the download.

Mobile ID is actually Launcher Pro and a few other bundled apps. I froze all of that crap using Titanium Backup along with all of the other bloatware. I use Next Launcher and it's just kind of dumb that this phone came with Samsung's TouchWiz and then it downloads Mobile ID over and over until you either freeze it or accept it.
