Lurker
I flashed the generic Froyo rooted ROM a few weeks back and flashed the latest radio too.

My desire was from orange UK and originally Sim locked to orange (now unlocked) and orange branded.

However some times my mobile internet (3G, H) locks up. The APN settings arn't wrong as it does work. It will work for the first few site visits or page changes then stops. The uplink arrow appears to still be working but the downlink arrow doesnt. This is the case for anything, browser, maps, market.

A reboot solves this and I can continue working fine.

It seems to be:

When I turn the phone on I can use the mobile internet fine (3G, H) and works a good speeds. However if I switch it off and use WiFi for a bit, switch WiFi off and go back to using the mobile internet this is when it happens.

Has anyone come accross this or have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Gary

I've had the problem for the past few weeks, just haven't had the time to do anything about it. I was thinking it might be an app I have installed but can't think what one or why.

Emails on my Desire stopped coming through on Monday afternoon.

There's just a blank page now - have rebooted several times, and logged in again but still just a blank page.

Any ideas anyone? I need the emails on my phone!

They are OK on the Desktop & Netbook................it's with Virgin Ntl.

I'm having something similar, except I can't do anything.

I can't get online, or onto the Market at all. The data transfer symbol doesn't even appear at the top of my screen.

I just got the Froyo RUU onto it, and had downloaded a couple of things fine. But now it's just not working.

Any help?

Your problem is APN settings, search the forum.

you couldn't be a little bit more specific than just "APN settings"?

This is a very old thread so I doubt the previous poster will be around to answer. However custom ROMS often have the wrong APN settings included. Try searching your carriers website for APN settings & create a new APN from scratch.
