Help "Mobile Network Not Available"

I live in New York and when going into the subway I lose phone signal. The problem is when I come out of the subway my phone reconnects with four bars signal but gives me a message saying "Mobile Network Not Available" whenever I try to make a phone call. It's so weird, I don't get it. This started happening after I updated my phone from 4.3 to 4.4.2 via Odin then rooting. Good News is that when I restart my phone it works again and doesn't display that message but I don't want to restart my phone every time I get disconnected from my mobile network.

I get the same error in bad coverage areas or if there is tower work going on. you can always try and toggle airplane mode but I have found a quick restart always fixes it.

You could also try toggling airplace mode when you go into the subway in the first place.

A lot of times your device spends a lot of battery trying to keep that signal, this could save a lot of headache and charging.
