Mobile Network State: Disconnected - Just stopped working, tried everything - help!

Hi all,
have read umpteen posts about this issue and still can't seem to find how to resolve it.

I'm running a rooted Galaxy S2 Lite'Ning Rom was all working perfectly. All of a sudden about midday today my 3G/mobile network seemed to stop working. When I take the battery out an repower I get about 1-2 mins use of 3G then disconnects and I get the 'Mobile Network State: Disconnected' message in the phone info. settings.

I have tried everything rebooting, going into and off Airplane mode, checking data mode is on etc. checking my APN etc. and still cannot get this back to working?

Have even systematically gone through and frozen and defrosted a load of apps and nothing makes a difference.

As I say this just stopped working earlier and now comes on when I unplug/re-plug the battery, but cannot get it to work any other way.

Any ideas!?

Could it be a network problem? If not only thing I can suggest is a wipe.

Which lite'ning are you on. One of them had really bad connection for me (can't remember which one, there's been so many. Maybe try the new one if you're not on it already. You could also try flashing the kh3 modem steslatt posted. It's improved my internet connection. Flash it with cwm.
