I don't have an answer for you. Somebody else will know probably, you need to be patient people work and have a life and when they get a chance to look at it they will answer. so you do not have to make another thread about this you posted in another thread the same exact thing keep it going there people will get to you.

sorry I thought I wasn't clear in the other thread. .

No problem:) you can always add info or change it around in that same thread you were working on. Just keep an eye on both of these threads now somebody may post in 1 of the other

You have 'no service'.
-120 is the definition of no service.

You issue is most likely related to a tower failing.

Talk to customer service... They may be servicing towers on your area, (or they need to)
__________
You are using the most current boost prl. Have you tried switching to a sprint one?
_______________
Have you tried changing locations to see if it is indeed your tower?

Have you tried 'open signal maps' from the market? It will reveal the location of your tower, and you can try going closer to it to see if you experience any improvement.

Have you tried to Odin back to stock?

You could simple have a cdma radio (hardware) failure.

I can't check anything I tried updating the PRL but since no service I can't update it I'm running on halfass right now.. It was working all day up until about the evening

If it happened suddenly, and you didn't change anything that could have caused it. Then it's most likely a tower.

That being said, CALL BOOST CUSTOMER CARE. If the issue is related to a tower, nobody here can do anything at all to fix it.

Borrow a phone (or use voip (Google voice) over wifi and call them.

Good eye picking up on the 120dBm that the member posted, LV.

She can look on the brighter side....... once the tower has been fixed she'll probably be getting better signal strength than before the outage. Hopefully they are upgrading the tower.

EDIT: Changed he to SHE to make Cwhatever happy. LOL:p:p

no biggie, but in the other thread he is a she, she said.

I have the same problem but I could not solve it with your suggestions. I tried to change towers but my sim card does not let me. In my status it say:

Signal: -103 dBm 5 asu
Mobile network type: EDGE:2
Service state: in service
Roaming: not roaming
Mobile network state: disconnected

I need please help inmediatly. Thank you.

Well, maybe it's a tower outage in your area !!! You might want to call Boost !! But then, you're talking about SIM, but Boost does not have SIM Cards........

So call whatever carrier you have and ask them about outages in your area !!

BTW, this is the Samsung Prevail section, if you don't have a Prevail, you might wanna look for the correct forum for you phone.....
