Hi

Does switching the mobile network off when not surfing make a huge difference to battery life?

Does being online and not being used really eat up much battery life?

I tested this recently. I found it used more battery being off if you use lots of data.

I only really use my phone for the net and not e mails or various widgets, do you think it will benefit me?

I can update Facebook etc manually.

Every time you referesh something though it will ask you to turn on mobile data again, so you'll keep having to go back to settings to turn it off after. Could be a bit annoying?
