Help Mobile Recovery (Asurian) Not working on Gingerbread?

I just reinstalled it finally, and now when I load it up on my phone it tells me Unrecognized device. It never did that with Froyo. Anyone have any ideas why it's doing this, other than my assumption it just doesn't get along with Gingerbread?
 
Shows you how much I use this app. After reading your post, I looked at my location history and the last reading was on March 25th which was well before I got GB on my phone. Looking at their forum on their website and feedback in the Android Market, it looks like it's been broken for awhile. I uninstalled and re-installed and am getting the same Unrecognized Device message.

Well, at least we're not alone haha. Verizon/asurian better jump on that seeings that Droid X/X2 and Droid 2 are now Gingerbread.
 
Strange. My locate is working just fine. No changes running stock GB.

Verizon saying anything at all? Bummer because we are paying for this service. Saved us a couple times with my wife's phone being "misplaced".
 
The forum on the mymobilerecovery.com has a post from an engineer that says new version has been tested and released for Droid X with 2.3. Unfortunately, haven't seen any update in android market and I'm still getting unrecognized device message. Alternative you might try...Amazon Appstore for a limited time is offering Seekdroid app for free which does the same things and more, and does them better I believe. I just loaded it last night so I haven't played with it a whole lot. It's not the "free app of the day", but if you go to the Amazon Appstore site and search for Seekdroid, it shows as free. Even then, the regular price is $0.99 which is a pretty good deal.
 
i bought seekdroid a few months ago and it works fine on GB. it uses data to send commands to your phone while mobilerecovery uses SMS.
