mobile website loading as full desktop version

[Stuart P]

everytime i type m.bbc.co.uk/news instead of getting the mobile version of that site, the full BBC News - Home site opens

i'm using a razr i. on a gnex it did not happen. any ideas why this might happen? i've looked and 'user agent' is already set to 'android' in the browser. or is there something else i need to change?

Hmm, i dont know why that is happening but why not just download the BBC news app from the Google Play store: BBC News

I feel like you wouldn't need to access it through the browser if you get this app?

[Stuart P]

thanks. i've tried the app but it wasn't for me

What was wrong with the app, that is different from the "Mobile Site"

I just tried it and I get the full site also, but I was able to fix it.

Open that address, scroll all the way to the bottom, in the center of the page will be the words "Mobile Site", click that and the mobile site pops up.

Have you tried a different browser like opera or boat?

Eh chrome isn't worth the trouble, too buggy. Give boat browser a try.
