mobile wifi hotspot?

[Snake X]

I was looking at the specs for this phone and it said on the gsmarena specs page under where it says 'DATA' and it said for WLAN: Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Wi-Fi hotspot. When it mentioned the word hotspot, what is that referring to exactly?

Technically, after you root the phone, you can run an app such as Barnacle and turn your phone into a WiFi access point. So you could allow other phones/computers to connect to your phone to get Internet access.

BUT - Boost terms of service forbid doing that, so you'd violating their terms of service and might get your account cancelled.
