Mobilecityonline.com Purchasers?

Yes I am..have it preordered ..and yes it should work on at&t network...don't when mobilecityonline will have it stock...my guess sometime in mid may..

I didn't buy it from mobilecity, but it should be the same one (the one listed as quad-band 3G).

Doesn't seem to be any conclusive evidence as to when this particular model is going to be out, but I'll let you know if I get mine first.

yeah, they're all the same, but that's the only place i know of located in the US so shipping isn't outrageous.

where did you purchase from? if you don't mind me asking
 
I preordered from NegriElectronics.com.

I actually got it cheaper initially, over a month ago, but after announcements had been made of changes they raised the price. Mobilecity is actually cheaper than NegriElectronics now lol.

I'm hoping it's Mid May the latest :o... Mainly because I'm coping with an HTC Hero running a somewhat buggy 2.3.3 rom.. The Hero just feels slower and slower every day I have to wait! :eek:

I actually thought about it numerous times but if I did that I'd lose a bit of money in the end most likely and negate the money saved by preordering so early..

Just gotta keep our minds preoccupied till then I guess.. :D
 
Anybody get theirs from MobileCityOnline yet? I had to cancel my Negri Electronics pre-order as I did not realize their policy was that if you pre-order and the price goes up, they do not honor the original pre-order price, and I can't afford 800 for a phone lol..

I pre-ordered from MobileCityOnline, late I know, but it's listed as 700 instead of 800.. I don't expect to be one of the first, but I know for a fact that Negri Electronics got their first shipment last Friday and shipped them Monday (yesterday). MobileCity however still says pre-order..
 
From what I understand mobilecityonline won't be getting any til the end if may..and who knows how many units they'll get..so it could be awhile :(
 
Wow... that is really a shame...

I was actually the very first in line at Negri, but when I found out it was up to 800 bucks, I just couldn't do it lol... I'm not even happy about 700 but I know technology isn't free..

Apparently MobileCity doesn't have as many friends as NegriElectronics, lol. Negri I think had another small shipment today as it was in stock for a bit and then backorder again. That's too bad.

i'm okay with that. gotta replace some windows in my house and take care of some other stuff before i can throw down $700 for it. will be late july or some crap before i can actually buy it. by then, they'll def have stock :D

But, I got mine at unlocked-mobiles.com

What a great deal, they sell it international for a VAT-free purchase. I paid about $680 for mine :D

Wow..has it already been delivered? Can I trust this site? Feel uneasy about spending 700 dollars with an over seas company with no toll free number to call..
 
well... all I know is that I got mine 2 days ago. I'm in Australia.

I pre-ordered. I think they have a back log where a 2nd shipment will go out Friday.

I suspect if you are in the US, this is your best option. Not only is it cheaper, its faster. Usually you give up one or the other. It's a lot of money.

Hm, seems to be pretty close to the same price or a bit more with the shipping added, plus a currency conversion fee on the credit card most likely..

The one thing I do like though is that they say when they're getting them... MobileCityOnline has not emailed me back yet and it's been about 12hrs since I emailed them. NegriElectronics was very easy to get an answer from. lol... almost thinking it would've been worth the extra money.:o
 
What do people do about warranty? What if something is wrong with the phone?
Will Samsung honor the warranty? This is really the only thing holding me back.
