Help Mobrewards popup

Has anyone come across a popup for Mobrewards or Android Rewards? The only option on the screen is to click OK, then it says you've won a prize. I didn't sign up but was wondering if anyone knows whether this would have downloaded anything onto my phone as I clicked OK to two of their messages? I checked my phone with Norton AV and Avast and it couldn't detect any malware or spyware. Also the Unknown sources option in the security settings is not selected on my phone and I wasn't asked to install an App. My phone ran out of battery later that morning and when I restarted it the browser icon was missing from the home screen although I was able to add it back from the Apps screen.

Thanks

Apparently its just a really annoying web ad. It cannot be Android specific because iOS users are getting it too. So I wouldn't worry too much.

Install addons detector (free app in android market). run a scan and it will tell you if an app you installed also installed something unwanted. Then uninstall said guilty app.

Also go into your browser on your phone and go to Privacy and Secuirity and clear your cookies. Then go to Advanced and click "block pop-ups" if it is not already.

Good to be here Chief.

Thanks for your help Demache and Trent. I was a bit concerned because I seem to be the only person I can find that clicked OK to the initial ad and then OK again on the next screen, which took me to another web address with terms and conditions. Most people seem to have quit on the first screen. Will follow your advice Trent. Thanks again.
