Installing with ClockworkMod Recovery:
- Download the flashable .zip above and transfer it to the main (root) folder of your sd card
- Power off the phone and boot into CWM recovery
- Go back to main menu and choose install zip from sdcard then, choose zip from sdcard
- Navigate to the boot logo package and install it
- Once it finishes, go back to the main menu and reboot
- Enjoy!
Installing in Download Mode:
- Download the non-flashable logo above
- While powering on your phone, hold the 'power + vol down' buttons until you enter download mode. You will see "Incoming Download Mode polling, get oemsbl_mode = 1..." That's when you know you are in download mode
- Plug your phone into your computer and move the splash.img file to /mobile/image/ folder
- Un-plug your phone, and pull out your battery for a couple seconds
- Power on and Enjoy!
NOTE: Remember, if you don't like the logo and choose to go back to the old one, all you need to do is replace the "splash.img" file in the /mobile/image/ folder. Your original boot logo should remain untouched if you just rename it something else before changing it.
NOTE: If you would like to create your own boot logo, you can use ziggy46's image converter tool at the top of his thread to convert your image to the required splash.img format. Ziggy's Thread
