This is Jelly Beans Google Now for the Evo V 4G (Evo 3D) everything works

- Flashable zip deletes previous "GoogleQuickSearchbox.apk", "GoogleTTS.apk", and their odex files Some Custom Roms may have have these named differently so you might have to manually delete them before flashing this -Plz see Rom Dev

- Works great with Mobster Rom V

Could you modify it to work on 4.0?

Some guy told me the UI framework in 4.1 is different.

I know i'll keep trying to port it but my lack of App Development might not help...... and the fact that i can't decompile the Apk doesn't help either

Were you able to open the classes.dex file?

That's as far as I got before everything in there confused me.

Nope there currently isn't a way to properly decompile JB apks some people have been able to decompile but only to edit Images......

There has been some progress on this over at xda. Voice doesn't work, but you can type in searches and get a feel for the application. It's a start

its too bad you cant like take the google now search part of that, and then take the voice search from the current google voice search apk, and make some sort of frankensteins monster app with most of the functionality, just not the amazing recognition that jb versions will have.

Do you guys think they will add the ability to select which search engine you want to use? like wolfram alpha, bing, etc. I know if you ask wolfram alpha about ages it gives you a more detailed answer like years,hours and days.

Back to google now, anyone have the now cards functioning? The only ones that work for me so far are the "weather" card and "places nearby" card.

How do I change the temperature to Fahrenheit?

Press those 3 dots for menu or press menu and go into google now settings and go into weather settings and change to farenheit.

What was your install method, or anything you remember that made a difference? "show more cards" is a fail for me
