Some edits I made to systemui and framework-res. There's also a 1% battery mod I think you will enjoy, so give it a try .

I use an app called Notification Toggle from the gplay. All androids should have toggles in the drop down bar.

I can't think of anything in particular, besides maybe a vastly different ui design than the stock! Again though, very nice looking.

Well I've been working on a red theme since I feel the whole holo blue theme is tired..

I tried this and it worked, it just made the whole phone unstable, if you can help find out how to make it stable that would be awesome

cant restore user apps through Nandroid Manager , but i can restore system apps.
