Root [MOD] VolumeStep Increase

Its actually stupid easy. Just the matter of changing an "f" (15 in hex) to a 1e (30 in hex) I only did the step increase for the music but I think i could do it for the whole system...But eh why? I just wanted more control over the music volume increase/decrease :D


Thanks for the mod but I would actually like to know where exactly to you change the hex number? I want to play around with this a bit to my liking on the number of steps and with the other other controls (ringer, speaker volume).
 
Jus wat i needed. every night i would try to put amy daughters (2 n 1 years old... oh and in a few days, a baby boy x_x) to bed n i would play on my phone til they fall asleep n the lowest volume would still be too loud.
 
I know this has been around for awhile but I just wanted to say there is a build.prop that will do this....but in my dealings with it, it only works some of the time which was weird but just wanted to add it here for people to play around with...

ro.config.vc_call_steps=15

the number should be able to be changed to anything...this was made for the in call volume but again it seemed to alter the normal volume *some of the time* for me.

Just sharing what I know...do/think what you want with the info! ;)
