Modaco?

Was just wondering with all the android (incredible) users i see that came from the Omnia, and the inclusion of adrynalyne only recently how many Omnia transplants from Modaco are roaming around here? Necosino and adrynalyne are like Omnia legends IMHO, and i find it quite cool to bump into people you 'know' from the webernet. Would love to hear from any former Modaco users really as that was my first forum/smartphone experience and it was a great learning tool. No offence to Modaco but I tried to stick around in the Incredible section and there was NOTHING going on, freakin ghost town... Anyway enough rambling, I'll sound off with Modaco screen name and previous/current phone.

yeah , I was there,though a lot of info was mmm... above my pay grade so mostly lurking and learning
 
I was over at modaco with my Omnia, but i'm not a chef or dev or anything, but I do know necosino and Adrynalyne :)

Same user names? And really just looking for the 'average joe' if you will. Still go and lurk there every once and a while. I am way more active here than i ever was there but i got around some.....

Same name yup, I still use my omnia without data connection for GPS in car with Garmin App, and GPS on boat with Active Captain everyday :)

Yeah same name or if it was taken I threw in some numbers at end.
Still have my Omnia, but it is loaned out to friend that wants to get feet wet with a smart phone , Told em Omnia and winmo was not the best "first", but I did set em up with spb mobile shell and a few more spb apps
 
I was a flashaholic over at modaco. same username. Still have the omnia.... But my 4 year old and 5 year old use it to stream Hannah Montana via pandora.

here, same username.

it was great seeing necosino already here when i got here, then having adrynalyne show up was like an early christmas present. the presence of these two is a huge confirmation that i held out for the right phone.

Its just too bad we did not get more of the "senior" members from the Eris board to convert as well!

There are some bright people over there that would be a HUGE asset to this forum! :(
 
i was there with the same username and flashed all the base roms glad to see everyont here and i sold my omnia for 80 dollars on ebay

80 dollars? wow, my sister wants me to give her mine, think i actually put the non phone rom from rob storm on it, but i told her it wasn't the phone for her, trying to talk her out of it.... don't know if i can part with it
 
i was very surprised it went that high but no one in my family needs a smart phone and i needed money so i sold it

Ain't mad at ya, just surprised i guess, can't get it store anymore but last time you could it was new for 50 bucks i believe. Can't be hating on making some money.

Every once and a while i pick up the omnia and browse threw the menu's....... its like how did i ever actually use this thing, all about perspective i suppose
 
I put my Omnia on ebay after I got my Incredible. Had a $100 buy it now, with free shipping. It sold in 7 minutes. I should have asked more for it I guess. :(

I've had offer's for 200$ for my omnia within the past 6 months o.O, but I will not sell it, I use it everyday :)

i thought the same thing when i was loading the new official rom on it to sell it.. i was so used to capacitive typing it felt like i had to crush the phone to get it to register any input... but man i would fight teeth and nail to anyone who said my omnia sucked when i had it still it was the little underrated phone that could with a lil tweaking

Know just what you mean... went to modaco and lurked some today, saw that you posted some in the incredible section.... f*cking dead as hell in there, it was depressing
