Help Modify X10 standard keyboard "background" colour

Hi all,

Ive been searching for days on how to change the standard keyboard "background" colour from blue to black.

Ive installed X10iUser Eminence Rom. But i prefer the standard keyboard to the HTC MOD keyboard provided.

But the standard keyboard has a blue background, and looks badly out of place with the black colour of the ROM.

Ive extracted the .apk file using root explorer. But then it baffles me.. lol

I look in the extracted files. Then i dont know what to do or change.

I quite sure its in the "res" file, Then under the "layout" submenu, then possibly the "main.xml".

Could anyone shed any light or possibly give me some guidence?

Any help would be much appreciated.

It should be in the res folder but can't see a background image there so not sure.

I think I know why now, if you got the apk from my xda thread then there is a difference in some apps so will update that now. I'd attach the recent apk but this site is giving me issues. Are you on xda?
