More intense vibration

Is there a way to make the vibration for notifications more intense and different than each other? the one i currently have for texts i can hardly feel in my pocket. Is there a way to change this?

Not with the just pre installed apps. Maybe from one from the market place but I haven't found one.

that is what it is called. its in the market. look up missed call app. lets u change the viberation reminders and such.

if you use Handcent SMS you can set the duration of the vibration, on and off, and the number of vibrations, but I don't think you can change the intensity. I'm not 100% sure on the intensity though.

It also can display your threads as word bubbles like on the iPhone, and can record your voice and transcribe it as an sms.
