More multi window apps coming? (Verizon)

Seems to me there were supposed to be like 15-20 things you could use in multi window but I only see 7. No Youtube, Gmail, Facebook etc...I know you can root to get use of more but I m not interested in that. Will Verizon be adding more? Thought I heard they would be.

If they are it probably won't be right away. Sprint's Note 2 didn't have multi view at launch. Verizon customers at least got it out the gate.

a Samsung USA customer support rep said they would be adding more apps soon, but that's by no means a definitive answer..We'll have to play the waiting game

Isn't that the normal thing with VZW? ::rolls eyes:: @VZW

Leave it to them to gimp a phone for absolutely no reason. I mean, I don't even see how it can possibly threaten their profits/bottom line by having the other apps Samsung listed available for multiview.

Oh what I have to deal with to get better service and unlimited data! lol

Here are some apps that are available *now* for MultiWindow without having to root:

AndChat
Chrome
NBA Game Time
Netflix
Skype
Solitaire
Twitter
WhatsApp
WoW Armory

You have to uninstall any installed versions before you can install the MultiWindow version. And you have to check "Unknown Sources" in Settings/Security.

The MultiWindow versions of the apps are about 2/3 of the way down this webpage:

The apps automatically show up in the MultiWindow pane as soon as you install them.

These 2 are confirmed to be coming soon.

I'm a sales consultant with a Verizon Premium Retailer and have talked to both Verizon and Samsung about this issue.
They both say that an update is coming very soon (no actual date) to fix the issue...

It's really funny that Verizon waited the longest of any carrier to release the Note 2... But dropped the ball on multi window and S-Voice...

An update will come that will allow us to add any app to multi window view? Or just Gmail and youtube?

So what do you do with these apk files?

Verizon didn't gimp multi view, they aren't blocking apps from using it as so many people incorrectly assumed.
