More RAM for LG GT540!!

Have removed this script as my phone in standby mode - with all cached processes and non essential running apps - was chewing through the battery in a matter of hours. Checking it maybe hourly for messages and emails and it would drop literally 10-15% in charge. I'd rather have slower processes then compromise the longevity of my battery by having to charge it all the time.

Really well thats weird..
i have the same battery life even if
i use this..
Also a lot of developers use this tweak in their
roms and nobody really said anything about battery drainage
from this tweak..

Open Terminal Emulator on phone or adb shell from PC and type the following.
su
setprop dalvik.vm.verify-bytecode false
setprop dalvik.vm.dexopt-flags v=n,o=v
rm /data/dalvik-cache/*
rm /cache/dalvik-cache/*
reboot

Tried this but after typin rm /data/dalvik-cache/* and the next rm, i get msg "rm not found"
i still did the rest anyway and it seems normal so not sure if it worked or not?
