more texts = more lag

ok so when i go to class at night i normally leave my phone in my car just so im not sitting in class on facebook or texting. when i get out of my like 4 hour classes and i go back to my phone ill see i have like 5 text messages and my hero LAGS SOOO BAD trying to clear them out of the hero saying they are new texts. wtf is the deal with this.

Can't say I've seen this behavior with my Hero. What firmware are you running? What's your internal memory at?

yeah and i STILL cant delete my messages. i even tried that SMS quick delete app. i left it on for an hour to delete about 3,000 texts from a person and in 1 hour it deleted only 7 messages so i bailed the app.

Yeh I have the same problem. Tried that app as well, left it over night and still didn't work. I'm just waiting for the 2.1 update as a wipe seems to be the only viable solution.. sucks

at this rate 2.1 is never gonna come out !!! ugh.

Your best off backing up your phone and doing a factory reset, this will ensure the phone is working properly before 2.1 comes out, and who even knows if 2.1 will even fix your issue for sure.
