More than one device

Has anyone tried connecting their Gear to more than one phone ?
Just tried to connect to my S3 and got an error message saying it was the wrong cradle

Just tried to connect to my S3 and got an error message saying it was the wrong cradle

from what i have been reading, the answer is no not at this time. the only way i have seen is, if you root the phone.....somebody was able to pair the gear with the nexus 5, but only after rooting it.

plus you will need the gear manager app installed onto your device and i'm not sure if it will function on other phones.
