Root Most basic froyo rom

I had a great run with the Ally but i gave in today and purchased the Galaxy Nexus. I still want to use the Ally for fun though. What would be the best rom to put on it just for playing around with wifi. Sine the new phones activated i dont need to care about radios working or text messages sending. Any ideas?

Well thats really up to you, their all nice on a un activated ally.
if you want good appearance, zero
if you want power, velocity
if you want spice, storm droid
if you want basic, overstock

The most basic of basics would be Byron Bare. It's no longer supported but worked great.

Wow never heard of that one.

There is also the option of rooted stock rom but you cant OC unless you have a custom kernel.
