Accessories Most Rugged case for the X

Ill be travelling overseas and taking my Droid X as a MP3 player I need a Rugged case whats the best.

I use the shell holster combo and its great. It is very thin but sturdy works great for me.

I went with the bodyglove case at verizon. It was the most rugged case im the store.. It serves its purpose well.

The bodyglove is prolly the best protection case its kinda thick,rubbery i dont like it but uts prolly the best protection you will get

Seidio Rugged or Otterbox Defender will be the 2 to get if you want ultra protection. Neither one is available yet though.

+1 for the Otterbox Defender series. Expensive but if you're in rugged environments or clumsy, the protection is worth it.

He didn't say when he was traveling. As the phone is still new, many manufacturers are still working their Droid X-compatible cases, so the nicer cases have yet to become available.

If OP had originally posted that he was leaving tomorrow and needed to pick up something at the store tonight, then that's different.
