What $15 are you talking about?Online & over the phone is free. $15 @the store
Are you saying that I could have gotten it without the $15 upgrade fee if I purchased it online directly from MetroPCS?
I think what also needs stressing is if you Buy the phone In the Metro store, they do not want to sell it to you without activating it there also.
I've had two separate Corporate stores tell me new account activates are free but they charge to just phones switch over. (The $15 I think.)

I appreciate all your responses but English isn't my native language.new lines are free. Phone changes are 15$
Much appreciated, Bruce!Yes, your understanding is correct.
Keep in mind there are Always things that Can screw up. There was supposedly a mess up where some Motions packaged for Best Buy had Sim #s that didn't match Metro's list. They would not activate those phones. (I know this because I HAD one.) In my case I took the few day old Motion BACK to BB and got another one from a Metro Corporate store.
But yes, IF things work as they are intended to, your understanding is correct.
And your English is just fine for me, probably butt loads better than MY use of whatever Your Primary language is.

Here is what can happen when you don't get the phone from Metro AND things go Very Bad from there...

Even the ripoff $7 the authorized dealer down the street wanted to charge me for a new activation would have been a BARGAIN compared to what that 1/2 of a Saturday spent TRYING Unsuccessfully to get activated was.

If it wasn't for the merger I would say it wouldn't be EOL for @least the next 2 years
Will my motion work post-merger? I tend to hold onto good phones for a long time.
I had my Optimus for 15 months, I'll probably keep this motion for at least that long.
Does this mean that the LG MS870 will be available soon?
LG MS870 Android smartphone exposed, headed to MetroPCS and Cricket
Why didn't you link the more informative & its the original source anyway http://androidforums.com/metro-pcs/650084-lg-spirit-4g-ms870-expozed.htmlWhy didn't you link the more informative & its the original source anyway http://androidforums.com/metro-pcs/650084-lg-spirit-4g-ms870-expozed.html
Supposed to be sometime in January
Oh damnit, I knew I didn't have to pay the $15. Should have bought the phone at a retail store like I did with my previous smartphone so they wouldn't try to activate it.Not purchased, activated.
You could have dialed *228 to activate your phone or gone online to activate it and saved $15.....

Oh well.
Why the price drop ? I paid $150 for my Motion. Is a new model coming out ?
